Schedule of Preliminary Night Events

Monday, December 8, 2008
Registration 3:00 PM – 4:00 pm

All contestants must be present at Club Masque no later than 4:00 pm. Please present a valid state issued driver’s license, photo identification card, military identification card, or passport at this time. Contestants will be assigned a Group and an order of placement upon arrival for registration. Registration will not be accepted after 4:00 pm! Club Masque will reopen at 7:00 pm.

Monday, December 8, 2008 (Prelim 1)*
Roll Call 7:00 pm
Showtime 9:00 pm

All contestants must be present at Club Masque and signed in by 7:00pm for roll-call.  Each contestant must have music ready to be picked up and checked in at this time.  You must have a backup copy of your music.   Please have all special need instructions (lighting, prop set-up, etc.) ready at this time.  The show begins at 9:00 pm.  
 
Each group will compete in the following categories:
Group A: Creative Evening Wear & Talent
Group B: Interview
Group C: Creative Evening Wear & Talent
Group D: Interview
Group E: Creative Evening Wear & Talent
Group F: Interview

 
Tuesday, December 9, 2008 (Prelim 2)*
Roll Call 7:00 pm
Showtime 9:00 pm

All contestants must be present at Club Masque and signed in by 7:00pm for roll-call.  Each contestant must have music ready to be picked up and checked in at this time.   You must have a backup copy of your music.   Please have all special need instructions (lighting, prop set-up etc.) ready at this time.  The show begins at 9:00 pm.

Group B: Creative Evening Wear & Talent
Group C: Interview
Group D: Creative Evening Wear & Talent

*Please note that all contestants are required to compete on both preliminary nights.

Schedule of Final Night Events

Wednesday, December 10, 2008
Roll Call 6:00 pm
Rehearsal 6:00 pm

All contestants are required to be present at Club Masque and checked in for roll call at 6:00 pm. Rehearsal for the “Opening Number” with Chelsea Pearl will begin immediately after roll call.   
 
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 (Finals)
Showtime 9:00 pm

All contestants are required to be present at Club Masque and checked in for roll call at 7:00pm Contestants may only bring their presentation costume to the dressing room at this time. The Pageant will begin with the “Opening Number” at 9:00 pm. The Top 12 Finalists will be announced following the “Opening Number.” After the Top 12 Finalists are announced, they will draw numbers to decide the final line-up.  
Once the Top 12 Finalists are called, contestants that are not in the Finals are required to remove all articles from the dressing room. Departing contestants will have thirty minutes to remove all personal articles. At this time the Top 12 Finalists may bring all additional required articles to the dressing room.

The Top 12 Finalists will be judged in the following two categories:
Creative Evening Wear
Talent
Preliminary Interview scores will be carried over to Final Night.
